Your Daily Dose of Happy
Boys, and Girls, and Kissing
Recently, our daughter and nephew both spent the night at my in-law’s house. My Mother-in-law had to text us right away after hearing this conversation between the two of them.
Eli (6-year-old boy): “I’m allergic to kisses.”
Lyla (6-year-old girl): “Eli, if you don’t kiss, you’ll never marry.”
Good Morning! Time for Coffee.
I am normally a black coffee kind of person, but even I have to admit that there is just something so satisfying about watching cream being poured into coffee. No wonder people worldwide have made an art out of this.
Oh Spring, Thank You!
Honestly, I don’t have a favorite season. I truly love each and have always appreciated living in an area of the world with four distinct seasons. For me, by the time each season begins its annual turnover, I am always ready. Yes, that means I am even ready for winter when the time comes. I realize that by typing that many of you are now thinking that I am a bit coocoo.
But oh spring, how grateful I am for you. Isn’t there just something about the renewal of spring that is extra special? It’s such a rejuvenating season, full of new life and new hopes. We have three pear trees in our backyard, two of which I can see from the kitchen window, including this one. Those white blooms sure bring some happy to my heart. I hope they do for you too!
What is your favorite season and why? And how many of you think I’m crazy for liking my winter months for what they are? 😉
